This vintage Timex Electronic day-date wristwatch received a cosmetic refresh and functional check. The scratched acrylic crystal was carefully sanded and polished to restore clarity, while the case was polished and buffed to improve its appearance without removing its vintage character. A new battery and stainless-steel mesh bracelet were installed, and the day and date functions were tested and confirmed operational. The caseback is marked Made in France; no caseback reference number is recorded.

Condition

The watch presents well while retaining age-appropriate vintage character. The acrylic crystal is substantially clearer and the case finish has been improved, but age-appropriate wear remains. Review all photographs for exact cosmetic condition.

Running observations

Running approximately ±20 seconds per day when tested. Electronic movement, day display, and date display were functioning when tested.

Known flaws

Age-appropriate scratches, marks, and finish wear remain on the case. Minor wear may remain on the acrylic crystal following polishing. The dial, hands, markers, and day-date display show normal vintage aging. Review all photographs for exact cosmetic condition.
